how to rid a sunglass frame of gold plating and make it silver?

Are there any liquid solutions to remove the gold colouring or can i sandpaper it, then polish it to make it silver? Any smart advice?

You should go to hobby lobby or home depot.
Buy spray paint in the color you want, then just take it home.
Clean and dry the frame, then cover the lenses and everything you dont want to be painted with tape.
Shake and evenly coat the frame with the spray- no need to sand it.
Let dry and follow directions on the can- just wait til its dry.
