What do we do with our old Dish Network satellite dish?
We no longer use this service and the dish has been collecting dust in our garage. What the heck do we do with it? I'm not going to throw it in the landfill. Can we sell it? Or give it away on Craigslist/Freecycle? Would somebody else be able to use it?
Freecycle it!
I collect them, I am a ham radio operator, we use these antennas as reflectors for UHF antennas.
RV'er use them too. Instead of buying a second antenna, a freecycle antenna is kept in the RV and then you just need to move the receiver to the RV when you go on a trip.
Bottom line, the antenna has a value to SOMEONE, so do not just send it to the landfill.
